In 2004, ARY HOLDING made its first move in the fertilizer and chemical industry by acquiring Gemlik Gubre. Since then, YILFERT has made significant strides and become the largest producer of CAN fertilizer and ammonia in Türkiye and the 3rd-largest trader of fertilizers and chemicals in the country.

YILFERT expanded overseas in 2022 with the acquisition of Rosier SA, a fertilizers production company established in Belgium and the Netherlands, and Petrokemija, the largest fertilizer production plant in Croatia.
